Our Honey

We do a range of honeys, including Runny and Set Honey, Honeycomb, Bee Pollen, Honey Dribblers and Bees Wax. Our specialist honeys include Clover Honey, Borage Honey, Forest Honey, Lavender Honey, Lime Honey, Hawthorn Honey, Acacia Honey, Solidago Honey (Golden Rod) and Amorpha Fruiticoca Honey (Golden Rod)

Our honey comes from the gardens, meadows, and fields surrounding the Brecon Beacons, it is all natural, untreated, and cold filtered. We make every effort to ensure that all of its natural goodness is maintained, just as nature intended. Our bees gather nectar from multiple flower sources, giving the honey both a unique flavour and colour.

The hives are tended by Llangattock Apiaries’ owner, Anthony Smith, who is a member of the British Beekeepers’ Association, and Bee Farmers’ Association. His fascination with bees is long standing. All Anthony’s bees are of the Buckfast breed, which is renowned for its high honey yield and mild temperament.
